Honestly, I much prefer this one:
The one you posted is just too busy for my tastes.

Some of my favorite desktop rotation photos. As much as I like the special liveries, the classics are always classic.
I do love me some 757.

That’s so beautiful
Airline CFOs looking at any 757

Different airline, but I’m a sucker for this one:
...partly because where it goes.

The 757 is amazing. As far as flying buses go, I think it’s the most elegant looking, long, thin, sophisticated.

The 757 is graceful no matter the livery, but, for me, it’s hard to beat polished aluminum.

That Astrojet livery is fantastic. I also miss the old AA livery. It photographed so much better than the new livery.

And super powerful. Boeing took one to a super high and hot runway somewhere and took off, circled and landed on one engine.

It’s just got fantastic proportions. Long and slender, wing aft of midships, big turbofans, and the winglets just look fantastic. Boeing just makes much prettier planes than Airbus.

I wonder why boeing stopped making it and replaced it with a pathetic competitor to the a321 in the shape of the 739s; if the 757 was given the fancy, new engines, it would’ve competed just fine or better, specially if a special focus was placed on ETOPS rating upgrades.
But that would’ve canibalized 787 sales, and that’s just not how it’s done.

They’re going to fill that capacity gap with the upcoming 797. That’s going to be interesting.

A single aisle long body?
yeah, bound to be fun, specially given many airports already upgraded to take some huge jets.
